Chair MIR studies the de- and re-regulation, governance and management of network industries, i.e., postal services, telecommunications, electricity, water distribution and sanitation, air transport and railways, with a special focus on the role the ICTs play in both transforming and governing these industries.
Chair MIR also organizes the yearly Infrastrukturtagung EVUK-MIR, during which political, academic and industry leaders engage in a discussion on the future of infrastructures systems.
